Il semble que mes lumens vont voyager plus que moi en 2017! Une série d’expositions sont prévues pour ce printemps.
Light Sensitive 2017 – Arizona – 4 mars au 15 avril 2017
Première destination, l’Arizona pour l’exposition « Light Sensitive 2017 ».
Organisée par le Centre Art Intersection, cette exposition annuelle internationale vise particulièrement les techniques alternatives produites en chambre noire.
« Light Sensitive, an exhibition dedicated to presenting art created using traditional darkroom and alternative photographic processes, has grown to become an internationally acknowledged signature exhibition for this art genre. In the current trend of imagery presented on computer screens and the overwhelming volume of digitally printed pictures, Light Sensitive reaffirms and promotes the art of handcrafted prints that uniquely belong to the tradition of light sensitive creative processes. »

Alternative Photo Revolution 2017 – Maryland – New Orleans – Toronto
L’autre destination printanière de mes lumens est en fait une série d’expositions itinérantes organisées par la Dylan Ellis Gallery, la galerie de Toronto où j’ai exposé quelques 25 lumens l’automne dernier.
Les arrêts prévus pour l’Alternative Photo Revolution 2017 sont:
– Glen Echo, Maryland – March 28
– New Orleans – March 31/April 1
– Toronto, Contact Photography Festival May 15-June 17
« Combining contemporary photography with historical photo printmaking processes, the Alternative Photo Revolution is one of a kind. Printed in Toronto by Bob Carnie Printmaking this group show features photographers from across North America. Hitting the road at the end of March, Alt will be popping up in Glen Echo, Maryland then New Orleans before returning home to the Dylan Ellis Gallery. »
L’exposition sera donc de retour à la Dylan Ellis Gallery pour le Contact Photography Festival de Toronto du 15 mai au 17 juin 2017.
